Chris Herrington

Chris was born in England and arrived in the GTA with her family in 1957 and moved to Brighton
in 1968. She is entrenched in the community and clearly has no plans to relocate. Chris has
been married to Peter Herrington for over 45 years and lives on the family farm in Hilton. They
have two daughters; Kim works as Manager of Assessment and Intervention with Corrections
Canada in Warkworth Institution. Kelly is an operating room nurse with QHC and her time is
spent in both Belleville and Trenton operation rooms. Together with their partners and
children, both girls also live on the family farm. Peter and Chris have three grandchildren who
they adore.

Chris was a career banker with CIBC for 27 years followed by 10 years spent in municipal politics
in Brighton as councilor and mayor. When she attempted a transition to retirement she
realized that she wanted to continue to help people realize their goals. Because real estate had
always been of interest to Chris she embarked on her third career. Chris and long-time
acquaintance, Jacquie Arbuckle, quickly got together as full partners to start working in the
Brighton market helping buyers and sellers alike.

Chris’ knowledge of mortgage financing from her years of lending with the bank has been
helpful when working with buyers and her time spent in municipal politics has been
advantageous when looking at planning issues and processes with both buyers and sellers.
Chris in her spare time likes to walk and bicycle, go RV-ing with Peter, loves to travel, enjoys
reading a good book and reviewing it with her book club and most of all enjoys spending time
with family and friends.

Chris and Jacquie have become very busy and there are now 5 members in their team. With
their diverse backgrounds and wide networks, they welcome the opportunity to work with
buyers and sellers as they make decisions surrounding what is most often their single most
valuable investment.

Put their knowledge and integrity to work for you!
