Buying Questions?     Selling Questions?

What Are You Looking For?
Its a big step buying your first home, that's why it's important to work with an experienced realtor who  knows   the area where you are looking to move.

There's a lot to know and a lot to look out for and I know you have questions!

The first step is NOT looking at the listings on mls, your first step is to book an appointment with your bank or mortgage broker and get pre approved for a mortgage so you know exactly what price range will work for you!

Next  you need to ask yourself what you want, and what you dont want. Buying a property is more a process of elimination, rather than selection, so create a WISH LIST.

Include the must haves I.E. Style of home,( bungalow, 2 storey, new, century, etc)  # of beds, # of baths, garage and location and timeline of when you want to move.
Factor in some options such as fireplace, deck, walk out from basement etc..
Now start your search.
First time buyers have  many questions ( I know, I've answered them ) and that's a large part of my job.
My job doesnt end when I find you a home, thats when the excitement begins~ The bulk of the energy put towards buying a home comes after you have an accepted offer. Thats when we arrange for lawyers,  home inspections, insurance, WETT certificates, septic inspections, well flow tests and more!

Even if this is not your first home, moving is always a mixture of excitement and stress and your realtor should be able to help you every step of the way!
My husband and I  moved here, with our children from the heart of Toronto in 2001, knowing not a soul out here, and for no other reason than liking the area,  and we absolutely love it!
If you are looking at properties between Peterborough and Madoc, and south to the 401 I would be more than happy to work with you to make your move a smooth one.
