I was born and raised in the Village of Lakefield, and currently reside on the 3rd Line of Douro with my husband Charlie. We have a daughter, Sherri, and her son Matthew. As well our son Kevin & his wife Denise have two beautiful daughters, Courtney and Alyssa and a darling son Kyle. And finally, our son Greg & his wife Jennifer have three adorable daughters, Julia, Kristin and Lauren. We are lucky in that so far they all reside in the Lakefield area, enabling us to have a close relationship.
I have been in the Real Estate Business since 1987 and am proud to say have been with the same Broker, Bowes & Cocks Limited Realtor, for 26 years. I am proud to be a member of their team.
Upon graduating from Lakefield District High School, I worked several years at Raybestos Manhattan Company, as a secretary, and then at Westclox, as a times keeper and a clock and watch repairer. I then moved forward to Nashua Paper Company in Peterborough on Perry Street, where I remained until I chose to stay home with my then three small children. I still remained active in the community in various local organizations such as hockey, figure skating, and swimming, Scouts & Guides etc. When the children were grown and less dependent on me, I decided to put my time and energy into a real estate career, which I have never regretted.
To do a job well in this business you have to be prepared to be a full time professional, which can consist of long and challenging hours, giving up family time and being able to manage the ups and downs that go with this job. But if you are prepared to give your all, it reaps many benefits & rewards. The joy is overwhelming when you match that right person to that perfect property making everyone involved delighted. I also have been blessed with the backing and encouragement of my family, which means a great deal to me. (They must remind me occasionally, though, what they are giving up for me.)

In the years that I have been associated with Bowes & Cocks, I have been fortunate enough to have earned the Sales Leader Award for the Lakefield Office for twenty-five of the twenty-six years, and have been # 1 COMPANY WIDE for the last 13 years, reaching a level in production never before attained by any other Bowes & Cocks Representative, until my son Greg caught up with me.
I owe it all to my faithful clients who keep coming back and sending me referrals. Believe me, it doesn’t go unappreciated. Hard work, and long hours contribute to my success, but it still couldn’t happen without my loyal clients.

I enjoyed my childhood growing up in Lakefield, I delivered newspapers and cut lawns for extra cash and loved many years of playing hockey. Currently, I reside in the village of Lakefield and cottage on Stoney Lake with my wife Jennifer and our young daughters Julia, Kristin & Lauren, and of course our dog “Blue”.
Prior to my committing to a real estate career, I was employed by Kingdon Lumber, worked in construction and owned my own business. All of these experiences have taught me skills I use daily in the real estate realm. I feel very fortunate to have a job that I look forward to going to work every day. I have been in the business since 1996, and have been with Bowes & Cocks since starting. Judy and I have set and hold the Company Sales Record.
It has been an amazing 17 years, that I hope will continue.
