Giving Back and being a part of the Community

Kelly is passionate about contributing back to the community.  Making a contribution back to the community is what makes the simple collection of streets and houses a neighbourhood, it’s about the neighbourhood pride coming to the surface, it’s about lending a hand because of our neighbours, … and because we can.

Kelly’s involvement in a variety of organizations and efforts are a way of her giving back to the community that she lives, works and believes in.  She has been an active member and volunteer since 1999 for Sancta Maria House (currently Board President), Etobicoke Women’s Habitat, and Canadian Women’s Foundation. She continues to look for other opportunties to help families in thier comunity.

2014 & 2015 Soup Sister Event:  To support Eva's Place

2012 - 2019 Leacock Foundation, Annual Debate:  Supporting Youth Education Programs

2003 -2019  Sancta Maria House, Board Member and Volunteer:  2 residential homes for young girls

2011 - 2013 Supporting Etobicoke BullDogs Tyke Hockey League- made the playoffs!

2011 Giving Back campaign: Leaock Foudation School Programs

2009 - 2011 Girls Night Out Sponsor: Annual fundraiser for Women’s Habitat of Etobicoke

2009 -2016 Canadian Womens Foundation: “Women Moving Women” out of poverty

2009 Winter Coat Drive: Collected winter coats for Women’s Habitat women and kids
