Judy Ball
I was born and raised in the Village Of Lakefield, raising 3 children, 2 sons, and a daughter, and currently am blessed with seven awesome Grandchildren, whom all live in the same vicinity, allowing us to maintain a close relationship.
I have been in the Real Estate business since 1987, and remained with the same Brokerage, until just recently when my son decided to take his Broker’s licence, and start up his own company called Ball Real Estate Inc., Brokerage, I was top agent in the Lakefield office for 29 out of 30 years, and top agent Company wide for the last 15 years, reaching a level in production that only myself, my son, and one other agent has obtained.
Greg’s decision to go on his own was not an easy one, but knew if he didn’t do it now, he never would, and his goal is to hopefully build something successful that may benefit our families down the road. The Ball name has been out there for a very long time in the Real Estate World, and we don’t want people to forget it. We have brought some high end and respected agents with us, and more asking to come, so definitely a good start.
To do a job well in this business you have to be prepared to be a full time professional, which can consist of long and challenging hours, giving up family time and being able to manage the ups and downs that go with this job. But if you are prepared to give your all, it reaps many benefits & rewards. The joy is overwhelming when you match that right person to that perfect property making everyone involved delighted. I also have been blessed with the backing and encouragement of my family, which means a great deal to me. (They must remind me occasionally, though, what they are giving up for me)
Buying or selling your home is probably the most major investment you will make in your lifetime, and the most intimidating, so entrusting the marketing or purchase of your home to the right agent is a serious decision. I owe it all to my faithful clients who keep coming back and sending me referrals. Believe me, it doesn’t go unappreciated. Hard work, and long hours contribute to my success, but it still couldn’t happen without my loyal clients.

"I was fortunate enough to grow up in the village of Lakefield, and I still live in the area with my wife and three daughters.
My entrepreneurial days began during my childhood where I delivered newspapers and started a lawn-care business for extra cash. I also loved many years of playing hockey. Prior to committing to a career in Real Estate I was employed by Kingdon Lumber, worked in construction and owned my own business. These experiences have taught me the skills I use daily in the real estate world.
I have been in the real estate business since 1996 and feel very fortunate to have a job where I still look forward to going to work every day. I spent the first 21 years of my Real Estate career with the same Broker where I hold many company sales records. After careful consideration, in the spring of 2017, I decided it was time to make it a full Family Business and opened BALL Real Estate Inc., Brokerage. I am very proud to say that it has grown quickly and we are now the number one selling brokerage in Peterborough County.
My life long residency in the Kawartha's and my knowledge of the area, allow me to broaden my sales territory, covering the majority of Peterborough, the Kawartha Lakes and the surrounding areas. Julia Ball
Julia was born and raised in the Village of Lakefield and cottaged on beautiful Stoney Lake. During family boat rides Julia remembers being ‘quizzed’ on Stoney Lake landmarks by her father Greg, in hopes this knowledge could one day contribute to a successful career selling cottages. The day has come for her to join her father and grandmother on their Call A Ball team, for 3 generations of knowledge!
Julia feels fortunate to join BALL Real Estate as she has witnessed her family’s hard work transform the brokerage from a mere idea to a proud company. BALL Real Estate was built from sheer integrity, determination, creativity and professionalism, which always puts clients’ interests first. Julia is honoured to learn the ethical, compassionate and loyal ways of BALL Real Estate, so she can best serve her clients and the community.
Julia is grateful for her academic opportunities including a Bachelor of Honours degree from Queen’s University and French-Immersion education. Julia was also able to work at BALL Real Estate as an office administrator and social media coordinator, which fostered direct work experience that has allowed her to understand the real estate transaction from the inside, out.
In her free time, Julia loves being immersed in nature, practicing yoga, traveling and exploring the beautiful Kawartha Lakes. Julia is passionate about environmental sustainability and protecting the land we are so lucky to inhabit. Growing up in cottage country and a Real Estate family, Dianne is experienced and understands the ins and outs of the entire real estate transaction. Dianne specializes in Waterfront/Residential buying & selling in the Peterborough, Lakefield and Kawartha Lakes area.

Marion has lived on a farm just east of Lakefield for over 27 years and is extremely knowledgable about all rural real estate.
