We start by personally visiting the property, to determine the market value, discuss a proper listing price and review comparable sales in the neighborhood.

Upon listing the property for sale we start with digital photos inside and out for paper ads, internet sites and for the Gallery a big screen TV in our front window at the office.

We put up signs and arrows (working 24/7), helping draw attention to the property. We help prepare the property for viewing and immediately arrange for a virtual tour by a professional photographer. This is just the start of our marketing.

We then have the property personally inspected by all Ball Real Estate Inc. Brokerage agents in the area, as it is hard to discuss a property until you have viewed it.

We then ensure the property is on more than 5 internet web sites immediately. This includes our highly touted personal web site, located at This site features your property with a fully
integrated virtual tour and linked to an online map of your listing. You can also find us at,,, plus many many more....we get your property out there as quick as we can.

We have a very comprehensive 'Buyers' database. We have hundreds and hundreds of qualified buyers in an automated online system and upon listing; your feature sheet is emailed out to all our 'Buyers' who match the criteria of your property. Anywhere from 5 to 50+ (and growing) potential purchasers simultaneously will receive your feature sheet as soon as it hits the market.

We are one of the strongest marketing agents in the area. You will have your property advertised in most of the following papers and magazines.

We do extensive advertising in the Kawartha Home and Cottage Guide as well as 2-4 front blocks on the cover, which is printed bi weekly, and dropped off at over 500+ locations, many being In the Metro area, (Go Transit, go Stations, & TTC Stations)  we watch several hundred distributed weekly from the front of our office alone, this Guide is also available online and attracts massive traffic on a daily basis.

We advertise regularly in the Best Homes section of Peterborough This Week. We have the full back page and a front page ad in colour. This paper is delivered weekly and has a huge distribution, we find it a great local marketing tool. We are also in the Peterborough Examiner real estate section in colour on a weekly basis. We know there is a large local readership of this paper.
Other papers that we advertise in include the Lakefield Herald Weekly, Dummer News monthly & Homes & Land bi-weekly. We do spot advertising in Toronto papers, mainly the Toronto Star, Financial Post, Globe and Mail and the Real-Estate News.
We must admit we do find that the majority of our calls come from the Kawartha Home and Cottage Guide, our various web sites and the local papers.

We attend the Cottage Life Show in Toronto and take your enlarged colour photo down for display and have our spring edition Ball Real Estate Inc. Brokerage Catalogues printed and distributed at the show with all our listings. We find the show is very productive and starts the spring season with a bang.

With all this promotion and marketing we provide you with monthly update reports to keep you informed as to what has happened with your property and where we have advertised it.
